Quick Answer

Construction works in Uzbekistan reached UZS 227.4 trillion in January–July 2026, up 12.9% year over year. In a Tashkent villa case, SGL reports that a client bought 93 Series aluminum windows after a China sourcing visit, received them in Uzbekistan, completed installation and shared positive feedback. It is one project example, not proof of market-wide demand or comparative savings.

Market Snapshot: Construction, Housing and Imports

Recent construction and housing figures provide context for project buyers considering aluminum windows in Uzbekistan. The measures below cover different periods and categories, so they should not be treated as a direct estimate of window demand.

The trade figures show Turkey had a higher reported value than China in this 2024 import series. They do not establish that one source offers better prices or value: profiles, glazing, hardware, configuration, freight and import costs can differ substantially between quotations.

Why Project Buyers Explore China Sourcing

For a villa or multi-category project, sourcing from China can offer an opportunity to speak directly with manufacturers, review product configurations and coordinate technical discussions around profiles, glazing, hardware and finishes. Buyers may also plan windows alongside furniture, appliances or finishing materials during the same sourcing trip. These are potential process advantages, not a guarantee of lower total cost or a claim that all products will come from one supplier.

The value depends on how clearly the project is specified. Drawings, opening dimensions, quantities, preferred configurations and finish requirements help suppliers prepare quotations that can be compared on the same basis.

A Tashkent Installation: SGL's Published Case

In March 2026, we hosted a villa client from Tashkent for a seven-day sourcing visit in China. His stated purchasing plan included aluminum doors and windows, whole-house custom furniture, home appliances, and decoration and finishing materials. We showed him our doors-and-windows workshop and discussed profile options, glazing, hardware, finishes and the villa's requirements. He also visited our furniture workshop. The visit is documented in our Tashkent sourcing story.

In our September 2026 follow-up, we reported that this customer, in Zafar, Tashkent, purchased SGL 93 Series aluminum windows, received them in Uzbekistan and completed installation. The installation exceeded the customer's expectations; he told us he was very satisfied with the windows and invited neighbors to view them. Our article reported that the neighbors were also interested. These results and comments come from SGL's published first-party account, not an independent survey. The purchase and installation show what happened in this case, but do not establish market-wide demand, a guaranteed result for other buyers, or a price advantage over other suppliers.

For project buyers, the case illustrates the sequence from factory visit and specification discussion to purchase, delivery and installation. Product performance, configuration and total cost still need to be matched to each project's drawings, site conditions and local installation plan.

Compare the Landed Cost Before Ordering

When comparing China-sourced windows with local or other overseas options, look beyond the factory quotation. The landed, project-ready cost may include packing, freight, customs clearance, applicable import charges, destination handling, installation, spare parts and after-sales service. The final amount depends on the product and shipment, so no general saving or transit-time estimate applies to every project.

Ask each supplier to state what the quote includes and compare offers against the same drawings and specification. For more product information, see SGL's aluminum window options.
