Composition of Wooden Doors

A complete set of doors consists of a door leaf, door frame, door casing trim, and hardware.
1. Door Leaf
Also known as door core or door panel, its main materials include solid wood, solid wood composite, honeycomb panel, bridge hole mechanical board, solid wood mechanical silent board, aluminum-wood composite, etc. The thickness of the door leaf is roughly divided into 45mm, 50mm, 55mm, 60mm, and other specifications. Our company's door leaves are composed of wooden keels, aluminum keels, fillers (graphite homogeneous board and solid wood mechanical silent board), face panels, aluminum edge banding, etc.
2. Door Frame
I.e., the structure around the door. Common materials include solid wood, solid wood multi-layer, MDF (medium-density fiberboard), aluminum-wood combination, etc. - Solid wood: Prone to cracking, high price, and not durable; - Solid wood multi-layer: Not easy to deform, not environmentally friendly, and no recycling value; - MDF: Prone to peeling and deformation, resulting in the door leaf being unable to close; - Aluminum-wood combination: Environmentally friendly, moderate price, non-deformable, and with high recycling value. Our company uses aluminum outer frames combined with aluminum honeycomb connecting plates or wooden connecting plates.
3. Door Casing Trim
Decorative trim outside the door frame, divided into aluminum door casing trim and wood integrated board door casing trim. The wood casing trim has a thickness of 15mm, with width options ranging from 30mm to 70mm.
4. Hardware
Door locks, hinges, door stoppers, and sealing strips. - Hinges: Two-dimensional adjustable hinges, butt hinges. - Locks: Silent magnetic locks and the viral popular Misi locks (with copper lock cores and copper keys). - Door stoppers: Floor-mounted door stoppers and wall-mounted door stoppers. - Sealing strips: Including rubber strips, magnetic silent sealing strips, etc.

5. Door Header: Wooden door header boards, also known as lintel boards or sealing boards, are the sealing panels above the door leaf. Those with glass are called transom windows (also known as transoms).

Door Casings and Window Casings

In addition to complete door sets, wooden door products also include plain door casings (yakou casings) and window casings. Plain door casings adopt a three-sided double wrapping design, while most window casings feature three-sided single wrapping (with the bottom made of stone), and some offer four-sided single wrapping. Common materials include four types: wood, aluminum-wood combination, all-aluminum split-type, and all-aluminum one-piece.
